Composed by Marco Fabrizio Caroso, famous author of the Italian Renaissance period,this tune was dedicated to a young lady called Laura. The piece has a change of rythm then the reprise.

    Purtroppo non ho lo spartito di questo pezzo. La RICORDI aveva pubblicato un'antologia di brani del Rinascimento, tra cui anche quelli di Caroso , in un'edizione per chitarra classica. Forse è ancora in catalogo.

  • Thanks for commentinikeg. This video had to be removed and substituted by another with a better audio quality. Hope to do that soon.

  • I would like it but for the 60 cycle hum. Is your equipment grounded? It's too bad I can't enjoy it.

  • I know, the quality of audio in this and others videos of mine is horrible. I'll try to play again using a better equipment, although I'm only the musician, not the author of the videos. Bye for now and thanks for commenting.

  • Great ! I play the ancient version with lute acccompaniment. So many versions exist. It was a huge hit ("Aria di Florenza etc...").
