A husband is to love his wife w/self-forgettin&self-sacrific­in love even to death. “So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself" Eph. 5:28. "Husbands, do not be harsh with them" Col. 3:19, “Live joyfully with thy wife whom thou lovest" Eccl. 9:9. Please don't judge the Bible &make hasty calls on TINY bits of an ENTIRE picture, do your research first.

Wow, you're just dead-set on ignoring what we're talking about here and instead out to prove your agenda. I can see that you have no interest in men or the idea that any man could ever share anything beautiful with a women. If so, why are you even bothering to post here? Bottom line you're just looking for a way to excuse yourself from doing what God wants you to do, to justify a life of sin.

It is clear your term,"blind trust submission", dismiss the real life issue-domestic violence. Women are more likely to be murdered by their husbands/boyfriends than a stranger. How do you preach "blind submission" in light of the staggering statistics of spousal abuse?

Probably because explaining what it is to be a Man of God, an honorable husband takes a lot longer and is a hell of a lot more difficult a job than a basic submissive role. In that, I mean a man is ultimately responsible for not only himself but his wife, children, family, household, friends etc.  Another reason is that, unGodly women seem to think, "if he will...then I will" and missing the point of a blind trust submission to God THROUGH their husband. Women are just as untrustworhty.

Why do so many preachers only discuss the wives role of submission. They NEVER discuss a husband's role to love their wives. SUBMISSION IS AN ACT OF TRUST. Too many husbands are untrustworthy.

So you see, it doesn't mean 'not dishonouring his views'... it is true submission, just as we are subject to Christ.
