This is a song written by Juno nominated Glenn Marais and the students of Henry Coaster Memorial School in the community of Ogoki Post, Marten Falls First Nations Ontario. The images were taken by the students. This is a beautiful place on the Albany River, distant and familiar. The song was written to adorn a story they wrote with Cathy Elliott. The program that these kids engaged in is called "Nee-tum-ochi-bek" (First Roots Aboriginal Program). DAREarts continues to ignite empowerment through the arts to children and youth across Canada.

Thanks to Noront Resources and the Ontario Arts Council for allowing these kids the opportunity to sing, to have their voices heard around the world.
