Russian opposition in walk-out protest

All three opposition parties have walked out of Russia's lower house of parliament, the State Duma, in protest over local elections that took place on the 11th of October throughout the country.
The Communists, the Liberal Democrats and the Fair Russia party are demanding an urgent meeting with president Dmitry Medvedev, claiming widespread voting irregularities.

@MarshallJukov hey there never is any perfect election with not a blink of corruption in it... however I can definately say that USA has relatively fair govermental elections... first of all each candidate is sponsored by more than just one person in USA and most of the times those are not the people who sponsor the second candidate.. In USA during the election people are allowed to use any kind of tricks or intrigues AS LONG AS THEY DO NOT VIOLATE THE LAw!!! thats as fair as election could be!!

I am from Romania and i see that in Russia people are not alowed to protest , i saw that Russia invaded Georgian teritory , Russia still has 14th army in Transnistia (Moldovian teritory) ilegaly , blackmailed Ukraine ( gas) to keep their naval fleet at Sevastopol and so on . How can we trust Russia that someday they would not like to invade again europe? Just think about it...

United Russia=70% of Duma! Only 30% opposition. But regionally, United Russia is in control of the majority, if not almost all, of the local government seats and city administrations. Those in power in Russia refused to allow international election observers from entering the country. The system is so corrupt that the people have lost interest in politics because their voices have been silenced. Eventually, the system will self-destruct as it is ineffective and unsustainable. Commies suck too.
