"lawnmowers" -- that's what I call them. I also have an upgraded lawnmower set -- some people call them deer.

They'd be cuter if they weren't such little bastards. My ultimate nemesis on the golf course...

@quiteacceptable that is not quite acceptable! They are too cute to be eaten.

@geldhundt I have so many creatures that come up out of the woods, to our yard. I have started to film them. I just captured a little ground hog. The very next day was able to film a deer.

@Tux3d0 My sisters fiance shoots them when they get too close to their house. I live in town. We discourage them from coming into the yard. had ony had one or two up here, and if they become a pest I would live trap and remove them, and eithert take them out into the woods, or have my sis's fiance put them down.
If u guys look at my vid about annapolis it has pictures of groundhogs in my backyard:) and i got rlly close to them o-oi snuck up behind 1

We have a mom & 4 kids, babies, pups, whatever they're called, living under our shed. Ours are very wary & dive into the burrow every time they see a human. I feed them apples, which they love, but they haven't warmed up to me yet.

It seems that as long as you stand still and be real quiet they'll just stand there and look at you. However, if you move a muscle they'll disappear real quick...

Over 5 years I have many generations of groundhogs in yard. They live under the shed. They have only one hole in yard , directly under an apple tree. They actually build a funnel under the tree and the apples fall off and roll down the hole. the apple tree is at least 150 ft from shed, must be a tunnel the entire way to shed. There is a large light tan one that does most of the work on funnel. actually amazing to watch. so far so good. They eat well and don't disturb anything yet

If you can borrow a camera and film them working on the funnel I guarantee you'll get way more that 27,000 views. That's a cool story....
Thanks
