Part I: Lester Holt of NBC Nightly News covers the assassination of Pakistan opposition leader Benazir Bhutto, who was murdered on Thursday, December 27, 2007 after a campaign rally. This segment also includes Ann Curry's exclusive interview with Bhutto in the summer of 2006 (see 6:30). Some of the footage has never been aired before.

I don't like ann, she blamed bhutto for the explosion that took place when she came back, saying had no bhutto returned it would not have happened, essentially saying that bhutto was responsible for the deaths. Anne, she had to give her life as well. Anne tried to be a tough interviewer, but in fact she became an ineffective, ignorant, and senseless interviewer, who has no knowledge of the region, essentially a completely ignorant person who is not qualified to interview a person like bhutto.

What a shame she was one of the greatest leaders of all time she is very much missed here in the United States I loved her positive attitude and her HUGE heart RIP BB.....
