Everyone's kinda tired of the chillwave, electronica, and synth pop. Because the Indie scene has been infiltrated with so much of the aforementioned for so long, any band with a guitar, base, and drums is gonna sound like some derivative or throwback, copycat band. And that goes for bands of any guitar-driven genre: Indie Rock, Indie Pop, Jangle Pop, Punk, Hardcore, Shoegaze, Nu-Gaze, No Wave, Post-Punk, Metal, Grunge, Folk, Alt-Country, Garage Rock, Baraque Pop, Art, Surf Rock, etc, etc, etc,

They had a lot of energy supporting SP but their sound was so muddy! Not their fault I reckon, now that I'm listening to their studio stuff it's great!
