The Bowron Lake circuit is a 116km canoe/kayak route of interconnected lakes in the Cariboo-Chilcotin region in British Columbia, Canada. Only 10kms are portages, so paddling arms get really sore. Stunning scenery! At the end of the 36km Isaac Lake, you can portage around the chutes to the river, or go over them. Our kids were too scared to sit in the canoe, so we went over the chute, while the kids filmed. Piece of cake!
