  • Many ppl don't like the fact Toyota is building one of the best trucks. Pickups are an American thing & for Toyota to come in & make a dent in that market, blasphamy, blasphamy I tell ya!

Fact is domestics have bias on there side, drive a Tundra 5.7L without having any bias tendancys, and you will realize which is the better truck. GM,Ford&Dodge were complaining to NASCAR how UNFAIR it was Toyota was able to get more HP out of there engine, and they had to lower the HP.Wah cry me a river,B3.

  • look it up popular mechanics is one of the most biased publications out there, they have lost all credibility with those that are able understand their painfully obvious biased reviews of products and im not just talkn about trucks google it sometime. yah i do my own review of things before i buy them.test drive them all.

  • @sprhowie Howie I have a very hard time believeing you. The 2010 models top motor is the 5.4L, slowest highend V8 motor in a top selling pickup. Either your friend has a lemon, drives with his brakes on, an engine code which is reducing his hp ( Toyota enable the engine to do), or you're modded up the wazoo, theres no reason after 2nd gear he should not be a full truck lenght ahead of you atleast.

On that note I will say this, FINALLY you Ford guys have some good engines out, 5.0 and the EB.

  • @JEDI9786 You mean like my 9500Lb camper? For some reason his truck doesn't like pulling it, mine however has no problem, so yes the results were quite clear.

  • @sprhowie Your truck weighs about 100-300 lbs more depending on if he has a double or a crewmax, the laws of physics mean you should have won everytime. You could hook up a modded single cab cummins diesel (weight reasons I am using this) to a double cab Tundra and Tundra would out pull it everytime single time in a tug of war. If you really want test a truck slap a heavy trailer on it do a couple runs against each other. The results will be very clear.

  • @JEDI9786 Toyota is fast sure, but workload the ford i best, better payload and towing. Had a tug of war with my buddies 2011 tundra 4x4 4dr tow package, and my 2010 f150 4x4 4dr base, after several attempts my ford pulled his truck all over the parking lot.

  • watch f150 vs tundra you will see why toyota fucking suck at making pick up trucks

  • Hmmm. With a name like theBABYEATA i pretty much think that sums up your knowledge. You dont know anything.Fanboy..

  • @oreilly335 you fucking retarded, a chevy will rip a fucking toyota apart. and ford sucks too ""FORD"' means "FOUND ON ROAD DEAD''

  • @oreilly335 , yeah. i can respect that. everyone has opinions so im not going to hate someone for it.

  • Well I like toyota, but Im smart enough not to hate on diesels.I love them.Toyota did however make a prototype diesel dually, but i dont think it'll take off.And Chevrolet had the first 5.7 350 but i believe thats a completely different engine. But yeah I think toyota copied Dodge. But its still a dang good motor. So is the Hemi though.Thats been around a while.I say Toyota is making a really good truck.Just my opinion.

  • @oreilly335 , no i just think its funny how all the toyota owners hate diesels and talk shit about them. but a diesel will wreck a gasser. and btw toyota copied dodge with their 5.7 gas engine.
