A little update: the car has been sandblasted and primered and is now undergoing body work. It took a while for me to really start it but its looking good so far. Now I need to buy mostof the parts I need like suspension overhaul, full weathestripping and so on. Thanks, I'll keep you posted:)

how do you plan to restore it? i mean, how do you want it to look like? by the way, how did you get it so cheap? in spain im looking for one and they dont go under 10000€. should i import it?

Hey mate,

restoring it meaning sandblasting and so on. I plan on painting it yellow with black mach one decals and paint all over. Keeping it pretty much original. I have new magnum 500's just as i said earlier and other new parts. The doors, floors and hood are in terrible shape. I am seriously considering buying new ones from the States, repairing them makes little sense. Yes it was pretty cheap but the state which it was in was not good. Import- YES!!!

Nice work, I'm sure you will hear that over and over, we are looking for one now to restore. Please look at our channel I think you will want to sub us. Especially if we find a Mach 1 to be our next restoration project. You would be a great resource for us.

@1971mustang007 shame... those yellow ones with black stripes are the most vulgar ones... its just so badass in black... by the way, do you know how much a matching numbers '71 mach 1 in reasonably good state could cost?

Those clevelands run good. I have a 90 mustang coupe with the 1971 351 boss cleveland small block . They look like a big block but are truly a small block, my car runs 6.30's at 1/8th mile.
