Here are some tips on getting out of the lockdown (half guard). Remember, NOTHING is 100% and that is why may counters exist. It is always a battle in grappling.

Note: The Apollo Sweep is there if you have and over under...you must be quick.

  • Dude, if the guy on the bottom slides his oustide leg down closer to his own ankle, squeezes and extends, I dont think the dude on top would be able lift his leg. Besides I think a nasty nipple cripple would suffice :D

  • my trainer was trying to get me in lockdown yesterday, but i got him in a calf crank instead.. i had to bait him into it but i haven't seen it on the web so hopefully its my move..

  • you can sign up at a dojo or trough the web you can find some good instructors and tutorials, etc. but one question... why ufc?
