Billy Smith was THEE Goalie you wanted on your team in those days. truly hated the competition. would do anything to win. and they won A LOT. i respect a goalie that fights his own battles.

sorry, if you look closely and count actual punches landed, lanny won by 1 or 2. lanny missed plenty. u gotta love that smitty waved off teammates to fight his own battle. hes dirty but he backs it up. anyone who says hes a "pussy" or "faggot" is just a fool and doesnt know a thing about greatness or fighting.i would be happy to show you

I actually met Billy Smith a few weeks back. He lives behind my house in my hometown of Cornwall, Ontario. Very nice guy, maybe I'll ask him about this fight or tales from his 4 Cup wins.
