I never heard about this Manhattan Declaration until just today when I viewed it mentioned in one of the comments posted by someone in MacArthur's latest blog post on Facebook, where someone said that she was saddened by the fact that Ravi Zacharias signed into the Manhattan Declaration but John Macarthur didn't. It made me curious about this subject, because John MacArthur is my favorite teacher to listen to...This made me trust John MacArthur even more when it comes to discernment.

The Romanites pervert the doctrines of grace and justification and are preaching another gospel, the Apostle Paul says, let them be cursed.

Christ states that the apostate church will grow among the TRUE church (those "Elect" born of Christ) as the chaff grows amongst the wheat.
EVERY church is composed of truly saved persons and those that simply profess a belief in Christ.
TRUE CHRISTIAN'S are called to do battle against evil powers and principalities.
God will still sort out the TRUE from the apostate. By signing this Declaration I know that I did what I could in remaining faithful to God in this battle.
