I approached her quietly, and thanked her. I knew someone really special was before me. I asked her to sign my cd, and she did. She wrote, "all good wishes come true"

My first time seeing her was at Irving Plaza, in NY, just after you are free was released. They played every hard rocking song they had- and with such accuracy in the reproduction, yet still, variations, as you see in this rendition.
After the show, I saw her sitting on the stage. She was crying. I can only imagine why. Maybe she felt like a sell out? Maybe it was all too emotional- playing all those powerful songs in one concert?

THIS IS SOOOOOOO good.
This is raw, pure. This is what I fell in love with. I MOURN the loss of this kind of unbridled, and incredibly passionate perfoormance.
I'm well aware of the fact that this was a tough time for her, and I'm glad for her that she is through it but DAMN. This was evocative. This was enthralling.
