its weird. My walker hates ice. If I even put any in her water on a hot day, she wont touch it until it all melts.

If mine goes out in the snow, he will eat his way through and make a tunnel, and good lord, if that dog hears the ice maker going hes right there... maybe its the breed? I really don't know...

this one's not trained to hunt so she's generally pretty mellow. She only really gets loud at squirrels and sometimes the mailman. lol But I bet that sucks in the middle of the night, cuz damn are these dogs loud!!
We have a walker coonhound (mixed with great dane, we think - he's 90lbs), and he is the same way with ice. Forget about playing in the snow, he'd rather spend all day outside eating it.

wow a walker coonhound/great dane? he must be gorgeous! but yeah, this one always tries to bring ice into the house during the winter. it must be a coonhound thing.
