  • The dream isn't too hard to understand. By going after the whale, they will eventually turn the whole ship into a graveyard. And the egg represents that Ishmael will survive.

One thing that annoyed me a little was when I was working on my 4 year degree, one of my women teachers said that she didn't like this book because it was an 'all male world.' I guess I expected a little more from her.

  • @eternalhalloween1 She probably put that spin on every subject.

  • Say, is it Me or do Ahab & Fedallah sound like their voiced by the same actor, not only that, but they sound a lot like Frank Welker.

  • @XOtericate Yea. She was kind of a feminist. She was really at home when I had her for "Women's Writing."

But as an English Major I will say NO WOMAN came close to writers like Marlowe, Shakespeare, Webster, Milton, Dickens, or Hawthorne.

  • Lol, 4:55 Ishmael wants to make his will out before he gets to the mast-head. Don't say as I blame him!
