The Israeli Mossad created Hamas in 1987, with the frontmen Sheikh Ahmed Ismail Yassin and Abdel Aziz al-Rantissi, because, as Zeev Sternell, historian at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, says: “Israel thought that it was a smart ploy to push the Islamists against the Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO).”
Mossad started Hamas, with the original “intention” of being a charitable organization to the Palestinian people. Slowly, of course, it turned into a political & military organization

Believe that if it makes you feel better. It just proves how Muslims are brainwashed fanatics. Hamas wouldn't exist without Iran's money. Hamas leaders live in Damascus & Tehran NOT Gaza. Hamas is not supported by the whole world, rather the whole world condemns Hamas, except some Muslims.
The world condemns Hamas for its treatment of Gaza: murdering their opponents, beating up journalists who write about peace, beating Gaza's doctors when they protested their rocket attacks. Hamas = thugs.
