i have a weezer book that teaches you this song and you did a pretty good job but that weird nose is actually the bass players voice not the guitar and at the pre chorus those notes are palm muted and at the i dont care part your part works but the actual way is you play the pre chorus notes being palm muted insted of the bottom strings.

Ok, a powerchord is when you play a note, then the 5th of it as well. You could also play the octave (the 8th). So, in standard tuning. If you played an E (open six string). To make a powerchord, you would add a B (second fret fifth string). And to make it sound more powerful, you can add the octave. (seconds fret fourth string).
