I went down to Bend, Oregon to buy and bring back an '83 Chevy Truck. I wanted the winch and Dana 60 and running gear from it. I ended up throwing 40" tires on it and played with it for a day on the back part of my property, and broke it that same day. (snapped the tranny to t-case coupler sleeve). I fixed it and then traded it (minus Dana 60 and winch) for a 1985 GMC Jimmy.

  • 0:20=heaven haha

  • what size of lift 8inch?????

  • @brooceleroy79 nice my dad has a 1977 gmc 305 and it has over 300,000 on the orignal motor (305)

  • @SuperD04 i gotta toyota rock warrior, its nice, when my mom hands it over to me im lifting it, and putting bigger tires on it, and i really want a K10, but idk, my dad had a k5 and a bronco, he had the best, but i still like my tundra

  • what kind of bumper was on it

  • whats with the stock tires at the beggining??

  • Got pulled over a couple of times because of it. You were doing 62. What, it only said 55? Hehehe

  • The original 400ci and 400TH are still ticking along at 103K. NP203 full time 4x4 beats any truck off the line and I suspect the top speed is around 115mph, but I can't be sure since I've had the needle buried way past 100 and it reports about 5mph slow...

  • Old Chevy's are definitely the best. I have a 34 year old 1977 that is mostly original except for the 600cfm edelbrock and performer intake and there aren't many 4x4's on the road that can do what it can do.
