Description from CD Baby Website: "Mamalee Rose and Friends is a 6 member band out of East Hampton NY. They are unique in the fact that they have 2 dynamic lead vocalists that are a mother (Arlethia Lawler) and daughter (Arlethia Rose Lawler) team. As if that's not enough, the husband and father (Jimmy Lawler) is the drummer. With Peter (Bosco) Michne on guitar, Josh Brussel on bass and Michael Cain on percussion, who all contribute to supporting vocals, they have a distinctive sound that is all their own. Mamalee comes from a gospel/blues background, and the daughter Rose is influenced by that, but adds her own musical background of soulful and powerful vocal interpretations. Together they blend to create a strong balanced sound. From originals to R&B, Soul, Rock and Standards they have a diverse reputation for whatever venue they play.
