Entomologist , Professor Lincoln, P. Brower talks about the monarch butterfly and its migration. Professor Brower, is one of the worlds foremost experts on monarch butterflies and their migration. He is prominently featured in NOVA's Incredible Journey of the Butterfly.   • I think that is what he means. There may be non-migrating monarchs in southern Florida. I'm not sure. The "normal" migration route is via land, not across the Gulf of Mexico.

  • Visiting one of the overwintering groves is a dream destination for me! I have to do it atleast once in my life. :) ... Here's a question, I noticed you said "some of them get all the way to northern Florida". I don't know if you are implying they don't come to south FL? Can you clarify that?
