This is a project I participated in for The Human Event at ASU. Don't ask me why it's called The Human Event... it just is. It's more of a literary analysis class. We read books that had/have a profound influence on the world and we analyzed them.

Our assignment was to create a 'treatment' of the classic, 15th century morality play "Everyman." A 'treatment' as defined in the assignment is a document that pitches a dramatic project to a potential producer. Our document was the script for this movie. Our presentation had to be between 10 and 12 minutes long and could have any format (movie, music, power point, etc.). Almost everyone did a movie.

As stated in our assignment paper, our professor was "grading [us] on originality and execution, of course, but I am also looking for evidence that [we]understand the concept of allegory, and can employ it in an effective and entertaining way." Our group passed with flying colors, with a unanimous tip of the hat to my editing :) The other videos were quite good too, but with my background in film, this video was the only one with balanced sound. It of course had some technical errors as far as lighting, sound leak (we had to film on a busy college campus), and other small presentation flaws (such as my terrible British accent). However, given that we were not graded on filming technique, you can see how well we did.

Thank you so much to my wonderful group who contributed so much to this project. You came ready, prepared, and eager for all the challenges that faced us. It was a lot of fun, and I couldn't be happier with the result. I was blown away that all of us in the group could act!

Adam Andrews-Sierra: EverySunDevil
Mimi Aiello: Confusion, Finance
Zaira Bencomo: Reality, Passion
Jeff Green: Persuasion, Logic

Yes, I know the ending was cheap...it always works to end with a bang.

RIP Billy Mays.
