About the Video:
Cancer is the second-leading cause of death in this country, closely following heart disease. Although it remains a serious problem, there is some promising research surrounding it underway.

In part one of this two-part interview, our cancer expert Dr. Kevin Cullen discusses some advances in cancer research and treatment, including new methods of targeted cancer therapies and vaccines. Some of the specific topics addressed in this portion of the interview include:

Dr. Kevin Cullen is the director of the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center, located in the University of Maryland Medical Center. He is also a professor of medicine and head of the Program in Oncology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
