HDR widens the brightness range of each colour so you can get far more shades of black and have very bright areas that are bright without lossing the detail. Real HDR works from a 3D surface but older HDR is only added to bloom post effects which can make the image blurry. You need a LCD panal with a very high contrast ratio to really see the effect a video cannot show it's true effect.

Great video, I've been experimenting with HDR for a while, and I was pretty sure I thought things looked better without HDR - now I am sure of it.

@nathie97 Yes, and a great cpu. You need at least a 1gb video card and a quad core 2.6
