The clock divide by 8 fuse probably isn't necessary. The difference between 16khz and 128khz for power consumption will be insignificant but the extremely slow clock speed would make it difficult to program. With new technology, AVRs (basically a computer on chip) take less then a 555 timer which is an ancient design.
A 555 would work but would probably drain the power much faster.
-
I presume it would also work on saltwater batteries?
I need to get some attinys to test it.
-
looool xD nice. try it with apples!
-
it's 13v ... goes to 1.8v ;) have it here too.
-
given the title and the circuit (missing the RC circuit a 555 needs), it's an attiny.
-
This is AVR microcontroller attiny13.
-
Is this NE555 timer of oscillator?
If true
The lemon at least 4.5(V) and 3m(A) supply for NE555
-
Stick a piece of tin and iron into the lemon, hook it up to a circuit and hey presto you have a lemon battery...

Cool!
I have the setup going on for the last 5 hours and its still working.
