  • Rob Carson is perhaps the greatest rudimental drummer of all time.I have recordings of his 1975 DCI I&E performance and it is breathtaking. Most beautiful double stroke rolls ever.

  • You should post them or send them to me. I would love to see him in action in his prime!

  • Man when will we ever get to see the Great Rob Carson play a solo? He used to beat my old instructor Terry Shalberg and I got to see his 71 solo at the sate championships.

I have a recordng of his 75 solo i got from Steve Chorazy if you know him let him know and I'd be glad to send it to him.

  • Yeah definitely...I know him.

can you send me his solo too??? I saw his performance with SCV and it was pretty sweet!

  • U guys need to use the same grips!!!!

  • I know....but I am left handed and play traditional different than Josh. We were just trying to play our parts correctly. It was just a practice and not a performance.

  • Rob is your dad!!? damn dude thats awesome, he s like the most badass snare drummer ever!! i go to M.I now, and im blown away by that man everyday. so are you and incredible drummer yourself?

  • The voice at the beginning actually sounds like Rob. Tell Rob, a big piece of our 1981 Championship belongs to him! Even though he left in 1980. I deserved his due. Rob still is legendary!
