This video was made in 2002, when releasing a file larger than 40 megabytes on the internet (AND hosting the file yourself!), was absolutely unheard of. Computers of 2002 were hardly able to edit DVD footage, which is why the video is such a small resolution.
That being said, 320x240 was the standard resolution of the day.

Picture quality seems a bit weak... why?
The version that I downloaded years ago has a resolution of 320:240, hardly smaller than the small YouTube resolution, it shouldn't turn out so bad, should it?
On all other accounts a great video with a great soundtrack, and one of my top 100 AMV favorites for sure.
