Heroes: The Fallen Astronauts

I have always found it somewhat ironic that with NASA's space fatalities, each one got a little further into space than the last. The Apollo 1 fire occurred prior to the launch date, Challenger exploded during its launch, and Columbia burned up during reentry after otherwise completing its mission. As always, we pay our deepest respects to the brave men and women who have died as a result of NASA's actions.

How come you never mention the Russian cosmonauts who died in the Space Race?

Many of them went into space knowing they would never return, because their spacecraft were faulty.

Men like Vladimir Komarov, whose dying screams of rage were picked up by a US listening post, as he burnt up in re-entry.

Why do you ignore them, Jarrah? Do you consider their sacrifice somehow less worthy?

This video is not a tribute, it's an insult to all those who gave their lives in the pursuit of knowledge.

Well, here it is, Jarrah's annual spit in the face to the NASA community. You just have to look at his wording to see his conviction that anyone who died on assignment to the space agency did so 'as a result of NASA's actions.' The implication, of course, is deliberate malice on NASA's part. In short, in the eyes of this particular misguided and ignorant conspiracy junkie, these people were all MURDERED by NASA.

@Apogee02UK FYI, I have never claimed the Columbia astronauts were murdered.

The STS-107 crew died because NASA's management denied the requests of engineers who were concerned over the foam strike. The said engineers wanted to have satellites take photos of the shuttle's wing to inspect it for damage, so they could send a repair or rescue crew up if needs be. But these requests were denied and the crew were not informed.

You don't call these deaths "a result of NASA's actions"?

My tribute videos are for those who wish to pay their respects to the astronauts, regardless of whether or not they believe their deaths were accidental.

The school is a real place Thousands of military people trained there before and after Apollo. The photos and stories of astronauts training there have been in the mass media for 4 decades. Funny that no Albrook AFB people ever stepped forward and said "HEY! Wait just one minute! I worked/commanded/attended Albrook, and there were no astronauts!"

It was clearly stated that JUNGLE SURVIVAL TRAINING was the reason astronauts went to Panama (Albrook AFB to be exact). Get youself a map of the Western Hemisphere - no wait - too complicated - get a world map, then find North and South America, place a ruler from Houston Texas to Panama (that's a country in Central America), note that most of the flight path is over the GULF and Caribbean
