According to the book, "TV Game Show Hosts" Fred Silverman disliked NYSI and pulled it form the CBS daytime lineup on June 13, 1975. Silverman was not a fan of game shows and ran amuck cancelling them on both CBS and NBC despite ratings being good,

Continuing with my format idea, there would be a new board with each new game. The Solo Game would be a jackpot which starts at $5,000 and grows by that each time it's not won.

If I did a format for Now You See It, I would just use the Championship Round but not call it that because it would be the only main game. My format would be a best two out of three match with each game being worth $500 and the winner of the match obviously receiving $1,000. I would keep the first to 100 points as well as the doubling of the words when someone reached 50 points.

@secondchance1977 Yes it was "High Rollers". "Wheel" was on at 9:30 A.M. (Los Angeles time), opposite "Gambit", while "NYSI" followed at 10:00. And a funny thing, when "NYSI" was cancelled, "Tattletales" was moved from 3:00 (L.A. time), while Musical Chairs" was inserted into the 3:00 slot.

13 months, 13 days and the finale was on Friday May 13, 1975.

Even with the cancellation of this, he was still hosting "Concentration" in syndication, which he did until 1978. I heard that in some markets that he was competing against himself while both shows were on the air.

I remember watching Now You See It in the mid 70s. It was a very simple game that should have had a longer run. The popularity of word search puzzles made the game enjoyable. Jack Narz guided the show as he did Concentration, smooth and with confidence.

Sounded lik Jack was told midway through the show, "oh, by the way, it's our last show". I hope it does come back somehow. Jack was one of my all-time favorite hosts (and when your brother and brother-in-law are also two of the best in the business, that's pretty tough anyways). Narz was a no-frills kind of guy.

What are you thinking??!! He's one year older than Bob Barker. Plus, he has already been retired since the 1980s.

It was also the day The Joker's Wild finished its run on CBS. 8-B
God speed, Mr. Narz. God speed.
