@MrMazerman If you ask me, it is a person's ability to use what they know practically. Be it writing or astrophysics. Being able to just store information and regurgitate it verbatim doesn't impress me much.

@jimmy2lip Yep, unfortunately he's like a living encyclopedia and actually can't do anything with that knowledge besides regurgitate. Imagine if he could. He's be quite the scientist.

@ciriusn Our knowledge of the human brain is so very limited. I'm sure we'll find a way to use it more effectively as science progresses.

The human brain is really underused, and has capabilitys that unfortnetly we will never be able to use, unless something extra ordinary hapens like in case of this 2 guys. I have a brother wich have a mentaly handycap, so he can't learn and understand things like most ppl, but he has such a strong memory that if you give him a text he will tell you almost all the words in it, he can't read but he memorizes the words even in other laguages, and at home he is like the name incyclopedia. Lol

Daniel may be highly synesthetic. I'm only slightly synesthetic, but I somewhat experience what he's going through, just not as strongly

I Love The Video A second set of clips from this British documentary. In this clip, you will meet the original Rain man, the inspiration for the movie. It Can Increase My Knowledge
As the father of two sons with autism, one non-verbal, I just wanted to say thanks. Your video was so inspirational. While most with autism are not savants—everyone, regardless of their abilities, has something to share in this world. Sometimes it’s as simple as the change for the better that they make in their caregiver or in the people who take the time to know them.
