  • I don't care what jacob's intentions were. He was a manipulating, self-rigeous, prick who played around with so many people's lives with the endgame of resolving his own personal family problems. He was little better than his brother. So he got what he deserved.

  • "what about you?" Thats fucked up.

  • That moment when you realize he's not John Locke just based on his voice. Terry O'quin is AMAZING.

  • @OneGaurdian You've got a point there. I have nothing to say back. But he was thinking of the island, and the rest f the world. Those were his intentions, even if he went about them the wrong way.

  • @xoxojollyy He could've tried. people who really want to help their fellow man step in and lend a helping hand, instead of doing a little manipulating here and there and just watch everything go down from the shadows. Anytime he took some sort of action, or showed concern for others, was when he was in danger of losing too many candidates. Nothing that I have seen about this character makes me see him as someone worth blindly following.

  • @OneGaurdian The island brought the people to the island, and the island made the plane crash. All he was was the protector. But yeah I understand that alot of people died, and Jacob did nothing, but their was no way for him to stop smoky.

  • @xoxojollyy Still, someone who really cared about people would've stepped in and tried to actually do something - but he didn't. Jacob mostly hung back and watched as if he was above it all, when he wasn't. He should've found better ways to bring his canidates to the island than crashing a plane that killed a whole bunch of other innocent people. Before that he was bringing other people to the island knowing exactly what his brother would do and didn't lift a finger to stop him.

  • @OneGaurdian Alot of those things, were not Jacobs fault or doings. Claire going crazy wasn't her fault, she DECIDED to follow her wanna be dad in the jungle, Michael decided to kill Ana-Lucia which lead to him killing Libby. Now,Jacob did think that Walt special, which he was, &should've never left the island. But most of things were "The Others" fault which is most of Bens doings. Now Sayid, yeah Nadia died, his soul mate. But him and Shannon i think belonged together. He got 2 chances at love

  • @xoxojollyy Sure, but Michael also ended killing Ana-Lucia and Libby in cold blood. Walt and Ji Yeon both ended up parentless. Ana-Lucia accidently killed Shannon. Then, of course, more than half the passenegrs and crew in the plane died, and a majority of the survivors wound up getting killed later on; a good number of them at the hands his Others. He also allowed Sayid's wife to die, only saving Sayid because he was a canidate.Claire also missed three years of her son's life. Not a fair trade.

  • @OneGaurdian I think he did them a favor, Kate would've eventually gotten caught and went to jail, Jack would've end up like his father, Locke probably would end up killing himself, Sawyer would have been arrested, Sayid life was going downhill, Hugo was cursed, Charlie was an addict, the Kwons were unhappy. Them coming to the island, helped them more than they could ever help it. And like I said before, the whole world would be evil if the black smoke got away.

  • @xoxojollyy I'm not arguing against his motivations, but his methods were just as flawed as his 'mother's'. He behaved a lot llike someone who thought it was okay to manipulate things and people the way he did. Despite the things he could do, he was still only human, but at times it seemed like he thought of himself as more. My problem with Jacob was that he talked about people and the good they were capable of when didn't really live up to that idea himself. Not in my eyes, anyways.

  • @OneGaurdian It's not like he took anyone away from a great beautiful life, they were all miserable and flawed, like he said. If the black smoke would've got away from the island, the whole world would be screwed and evil.
