canon DSLR's are cheaper, so tahts why more people buy it. But the "people" im talking about are all amateurs. Nikon is the #1 in the world. Used by many famous photographers and even NASA. Not only that, Nikon has a wide range of lenses, filters etc. Nikon has also this microchip that has the most advanced technology. (canon doesnt has it :P)
