  • The topic is simply too complicated and presented in a much too simplified way. We created a system, that is globally connected, but on a global scale there are too many differences in economic, cultural, social, political, technical, etc. developments. It's the eye of the beholder: if you have to live from less than 2 dollars a day, you won't even have access to the internet. The real solution to these problem requires universal global collaboration towards a common goal.

  • He is a devious, subversive Communist, this individual.

In other words, I love him like a brother. ;)

  • Just because consumerism is bad, really really bad, it doesn't prove that socialism is good. The both really suck!

  • so true! buying more does not equal happiness...I cleaned out my house and do not miss half the stuff I gave away.......I still have this passion for SHOES that I cannot shake :)

  • One of the best clips on youtube. It beautifully explains why people should be egalitarians and anti-consumerists. Socialism=equity, moderation, peace. Capitalism=inequality, greed, wars for resources. Only socialism is capable of eradicating poverty and maintaining world-wide peace.

  • Right ON.

  • alright, sure if people cut down on spending they would still be able to live there lives to the fullest extent, but still if everyone, every single person in the nation, cut down on spending then all of the stores and everything like that would loose money because they overstock on what they atcually sell. that in itself would cause our economy to collapse, and drag us farther into resession than it already is.

  • 5 stars!

  • Bravo.

  • repent from buying more and more crap people!

Save yourselves, save your family...boycott shopping insanity
