Contest Rules & Instructions 1. You must enter your first name and a valid email address on this page to register. (You will receive a copy of the backing track). If your friends want to enter, please send them to this page, do not sent them the backing track directly because they won't be eligible to win unless "registered". 2. After registering, submit a video response to my original youtube posting and YOU MUST TITLE IT EXACTLY AS FOLLOWS: GuitarControl.com solo contest 3. Use the backing track provided. 4. You may solo for part of the track (fade out early) 5. Judges will be fusion guitar wizard Derryl Gabel, 2-time Guitar Idol finalist Silvio Gazquez, and yours truly, Claude Johnson, creator of Guitar Control. 6. All entries must be submitted by March 31, 2011. 7. For liability reasons, I should mention that we "warrant" nothing and won't be held respsonsible for harms resulting directly or indirectly from our contest. Prizes First Place (Lead Guitar God of the Year): You win the "hot hand" wah system AND the multiwave distortion pedal from Source Audio. Also a smokey mini amp, a 21 foot braided Rokstark Spectraflex cable, 12 months access to the Guitar God Club, and a chance to create a guitar video with Guitar Control. Second Place (The Silver Medal): You win the multiwave distortion pedal, the smokey mini amp, a 21 foot braided Rokstark Spectraflex cable, and 6 months access to the Guitar God Club. Third Place (The Bronze Medal): You win a 21 foot braided Rokstark Spectraflex cable, and 3 months access to the Guitar God Club.
