Freestyle media mix of the OSGeo Code Sprint (and Hacking event) in Bolsena, Italy on June 6-12, 2010. See also http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Bolsena_Code_Sprint_2010 . During one week, developers from major Free and Open Source for Geo (FOSS4G) projects got together in a monastery to work, collaborate and have fun. The atmosphere is relaxed, and thanks to our cook Enzo, the Italian food was delightful.

  • I have a question... is paying them ?? Where re they getting the money to work on all these things?

  • @Stefanakos84 there is no single way we get paid: most work for companies that provide consultancy and development for Free and Open Source for Geospatial (FOSS4G). Some are from universities. Most get paid. "Free" doesn't mean free of charge but :Free as in Freedom" !
