TX frequency region 350-389 MHz .995 unlock the second (green LCD display) on the radio can be removed. Help: Press Key Band, and then turn the power is at the cloud, the LCD will display 350 390 ******, then input to open the frequency. Repeat the steps will turn off the 350-389.995Mhz frequency.

Can you post a link to where you bought the scrambler module. All i can find is a webside in chinese.....

@skrankesvin I do not have a direct link to the order, it was only in the context of e-mail the radio manufacturer. Voice scrambler circuit was cheap but the shipping cost was high.

hi does the quansheng tg uv2 vol knob pull off or unscrew?

@crazybritishlad Hi Volume knob comes off when you push gently for example, two thin screwdriver tip volume knob and the radio-intermediate casing, it is important to push the volume knob straight up.

I got x2 of the TG-UV2's off E-Bay direct from radiofactory in Hong Kong and they both came with the green screen LCD, what is the difference between the green and the blue screen models? is it the voice scrambler circuit or just the color of the LCD? Mine did not come with the Voice Scrambler built in.

On the dealextreme one it can

turn on the radio keeping the "band" button pressed. It will show "******". Now type 350390. It's unlocked!!

@omauser Thank you very much sir, i did try with my finger nails but was very tight so i wasn't going to use a screwdriver until i was 100% sure how it was fixed. Previous radio's i have owned the knobs came off with ease.
