@ Campsen: YOU sir are wrong. I am active duty MP and I have traveled all over the country. There IS something special in the south. You can not find the same type of southern hospitality up north. Period. You are correct about small towns in every state but none quite like the ones down here.

im active duty army 11b infantry and im from florida alot of people out here in tx tell me it doesnt count as the south em boys from wv and lous. look if ur country thats fantastic it doesnt matter where you from.i think any country boy will tell you its about your values not where ur from mostly but it sure helps if ud rather spend a day on the lake or hangn a rope swing on the river instead of whatever city boys do.

Yeah the far south and suprisingly the far north are very country but the middle is kind of mixture between city and country people. That's why I love Ohio.
