I wanted to try-out for the next tour of 2009 but I was too tall! In my opinion, I think it doesn't matter if you're too tall to try-out for Annie, its just so unfair!

I dont think that was the reason coz she is the same hite as Madison Kerth. The casting people would not choose someone who is not the right hite for the lead role and tianna could not have grwn that much between auditions and when tour started. IMO

Actully Amanda was never the understudy. She was "Annie" in the 2007-2008 tour. When the season ended she didnt stay on coz she had been on the tour for 3 years. They picked a new Annie called Tianna & Madison Kerth as the US. Then Tianna was asked to leave & Amanda was asked back. AB agreed but only as an ALTERNATE Annie to help MK learn the role & to play Kate while they trained new Kate. AB never agreed 2 join on & is listed as alternate Annie & Kate. The swing played Kate more than AB did

Yup sure is Amanda. She played Annie on the 2007-2008 tour. Great performer. I think this clip is when she came back to help play Annie and help find a new Kate in January 2009 after the new Annie was let go. I don't think she is on the tour anymore (sad face) coz I think she only wanted to stay for about 6 weeks, just to help out.
