Here is my Axial AX-10 with 55t Integy Lathe motor, 16/87 gearing, 2s Lipo or 6cell NiMh for complete water submersion, Narrowed Chassis, HS645MG Servo, DSM radio gear, AI runner reverse Waterproof ESC, doing a little crawling/submarining. The river clips are the first time I tested the waterproofing I have done, which consisted mainly of balloons over the RX, and servo, and the battery for good measure I also Silicone sprayed the openings right before the water... awesome! i've been dreaming of this since i bought my ax10 and finally have the parts on order (traxxas waterproof gear) i can't get it outta my head, gotta keep telling myself "the parts are coming soon, their on their way"

UNBELIEVEABLE !! i WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO SCARED TO TRY A STUNT LIKE THAT. EVEN WITH THE WATERPROOF.

no he didnt no water really can get in but if u want to be safe u can tape the gap where the wires and plugs connect with electric tape

Put the reciever in a baloon, and zip tie it closed tightly letting the wires out obviously... and I have a waterproof ESC, and I did the balooning on the servo for good measure too, but they make waterproof servos as well...

no real issues there, everything is sealed tightish, and lubricated nicely. if water gets in it hasnt really caused a problem, as I still have never opened the trans or front/rear diffs, and continue to run it today, on a 3s lipo now tho :D
