Ouch! 9 lbs. 12.4 ounces, 21 inches long, and epidural didn't work!

  • Thank you all for your comments. My baby is happy, healthy, strong, and absolutely beautiful! She'll be nine months old soon. This was one experience I'll definitely never forget. It was more intense than my first time, my first daughter was a little smaller than the second. She's definitely worth the pain - would go through it a hundred more times for my baby girls :). I feel very blessed.

  • @pubaroo I can hurt, but it doesn't have to overwhelm you. It's your body, you have the right to say I don't want that done to me, I am a human being, not a carcass in a slaughter house. Choose a gentle birth; learn breathing techniques to help you stay in control. You don't need a saline drip or an epidural, ask for laughing gas instead. Giving birth on your back actually increases pain, damages your muscles, and reduces oxygen flow to your baby. Stay alert, be mobile, and enjoy the experience

  • @tardismole i don't know if i should like it or not

  • congratulations, she's a beauty. is her real name mimi or melissa? ;-)

    :-)

  • well, done you did a great job! i've never had a baby before. does it hurt to have a baby?

how bad does it hurt to have a baby?

do the doctors give you any medications?

  • That really annoys me when they tell you to wait until they are ready before you can push. The mother is having the baby, not the doctor. At least you had a wonderful outcome. Well done :)

  • Congrats she's beautiful

  • Aw, such a horrible unnatural way to give birth :-( but at least you have a beautiful baby out of it! :-)

  • yeah most times they turn down the ammount of medication before u deliver so that youre able to push mor effectively..i know how u feel t hough

  • Oh my goodness! Amazing video! But no one in the room seemed very supportive for you, you poor thing!! Juat shouting push at you!! Hope you and the gorgeous baby are doing well x
