I wonder if this guy keeps the Law of Moses, giving tithes to Levites, not working from Fri 6 PM to Sat 6 PM, not shopping then, not eating out, certainly gathering no sticks. I wonder if he cleans himself with the Ashes of a Red Heifer? Does he keep the OT feasts, dwelling in boothes each year? The Law ended at the cross. It is all God's word & has application to us, but it is not directed to us. Only if the a command is given as a universal principle is it directly for the Church.

Does anyone know what law Gary DeMar believes in? Does he seriously keep to the Mosaic Law?

I don't understand what all the furor over Biblical Law. I have the Holy Spirit living in me, I don't need a law to serve God. Jesus is my Husband and I am the Bride and my Husband is coming for me. Paul said if you apply even one part of the law then you are condemned by the whole law because you are not allowed to chose which parts you obey. So you need the Holy Spirit in you, guiding you to all truth. If you still need the Law you aren't saved and you don't know God.

Dispensationalism is refuted by the simple fact that the Church IS Israel, and Israel IS the Church.

It is wrong to say the dispensationalism denies the Old Testament Law for nothing could be further from the truth. What it does teach is that we are not under the Law but under Grace (Rom 6:14,15). We understand the Law cannot justify anyone and only condemns that is why the Word of God calls it the ministration of death (2 Cor 3:7).
Paul says the law is good if used lawfully (1 Tim 1:8) that is when it is used to convict one of sin and leads them to God's grace. Let's get the facts straight :)

Gary Why cant you not be honest? Think on this for awhile. Exo 19:3 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
Who was speaking and who was being spoken too? Who was the Old Convent given too and why? What was it's purpose?

@jjondd and who did Paul say is a Jew , Romans chapter 1, 2 , 3

Not only is bestiality a strawman, but this argument has a flipside, the ethical gaps in the law. E.g., the pastor who is blackmailing his congregration. Where is the specific law against blackmail? DeMar has no choice but to say that’s OK.

@NevilleRhysBarnes You are misunderstanding what is said. If law is mentioned ONLY in the Old Testament it still stands. He is not saying that unless a case law is specifically mentioned in the Bible it cannot be enforced. A law against blackmail or extortion would come under the heading: You Shall Not Steal. Even laws not mentioned in the Bible such as speed limits are derived from the law that says: You Shall Not Kill.

I found this reference:
"I would execute gays only if we catch them indulging in sodomy.” DeMar, who casually condemns millions, envisions sinners in line for the death penalty.
—December, 2005 issue of Mother Jones, “A Nation under God.”
If this is what he thinks, then no one should waste their time on this man or his sick beliefs.

@NevilleRhysBarnes The death penalty for sodomy was put in place by God himself. It's not a sick belief. Now how we are to enforce that under a civil nation's laws after the New Covenant is a matter of debate. But the capital crimes listed in the Bible are not "sick." It is the mind of mankind that is sick.

I love this, but I don't understand this is so professional and yet it wasn't 1st Tim 5:7 on that scripture, it was 1st Cor 9:9

Hang on, it was correct.
Paul twice quotes Deut. 25:4 in his letters.
