Dir. Martin Hampton / UK / 2008
Enter the complicated worlds of four hoarders; people whose lives are dominated by their relationship to possessions. The film questions whether hoarding is a symptom of mental illness or a revolt against the material recklessness of consumerism. When does collecting become hoarding and why do possessions exert such an influence on our lives?

Spirits incarnate, living as humans in our midst; moving openly and freely, yet undetected by the masses, or even their hosts. Like the spasms of a decapitated body, the fact of the matter, thats precisely what it is; if you really think about it. Their illusions are many, which overtake the sleepwalking masses. Now know that they do take flesh and walk among men, to mold a new species. Die young and stay pretty. It's just a message for the stoke: SaintVeil

PTSD / DEPRESSION versus REVOLTING against material recklessness of consumerism! How about A COMBINATION of both? Most people are trapped in our sick economic treadmill: Some try to escape from the capitalistic dump mentality + its systematic disconnection from essential goods, by conserving collections passionately, as a kind of legacy or for some higher purpose. The French lady is not far from being an artist (eg Joseph Beuys) but it's the stuff that possesses them! Watch "STORY OF STUFF" too.
