I chained for the first time in a long while :x

A Shiny Diglett appears on a chain of 40 in Pokémon Platinum, blue nose and all.

You mean considering the sandstorm? It's easier than it was in Diamond and Pearl, thanks to the increased visibility of the shaking patches. The grass area is adequately sized, but it's no 'route 222'.

i got a shiny dugtrio in the game right now and it was the first dugtrio i saw on this game. i also got the shortest shiny chain ever because it was the first patch i stepped on.
