@Taken31300 Plus, if you think everything has to be logical...I can tell you the SWAT team can put the CS grenades and flashbangs to arrest them at the first place. Then we will miss this great fight :) Sometimes a good movie is about providing great times and emotions for the audiences, logic is not the definitive factor. Like "Leon, the professional", the SWAT house entry scene was not logical at all, but it was fun to be watched.

@Taken31300 Sometimes, things cannot be explained by logic...humans have emotions and beliefs. If you have watched some movies and animations about the spirit of the warrior/samurai, you may get it...Some competitive and aggressive warriors love to fight and face the challenges, and have a "better than you" attitude.

@Taken31300 It is definitely a great scene: smooth and forceful. Well I guess they fought to death because their skills level are so close so they still have not known who was the best yet? Strikes are deadly and forceful from the masters' hands even with safety protections, and it will cause injuries. Plus, throats and other parts of human parts cannot be easily protected without the reduction of agility.

@r3420083 they would have done that in a training you wouldn't fight to the death because the police are going to kill you, in fact i think it would be more likely they'd go down swinging with the police! also as i stated you could tell sammo didn't want to fight which i mentioned! again ill point out i take nothing away from the film or fight scene as i think both were great. Being a life long Jackie chan fan i obviously love sammo and have become a fan of jacky/Jing wu over recent years too.

his fight never made much sense at the end of the movie as they're family (for any1 that didnt know that u can tell by sammo's hesitation in attacks) but still awesome fight and pretty decent movie
