@DrGoodwrench64 Yeah cause most people when they see a Civic assume it has an F1 V-10 in it right?
Oh wait hang on a second...

M I have a tacoma... How can I buy this engine an slap it on my truck??
-
Very impressive . Like 850 HP out of a 3-Liter V8 ..
-
its virtually impossible to drop one of these engines into a street car. as powerful as it is, these engines are (for all intensive purposes) running on life support. they wouldn't be able to cope with real life. heres just one example. while off, the engine has to have hot "water" (idk the actual fluid used) pumped around it at ALL TIMES or it will seize due to the metal contracting.

@DrGoodwrench64 stock civics and crx's dont look like they're used to race though... i'll admit that my prelude kinda does. but most of these cars look pretty normal until you do stuff to them.

@DrGoodwrench64 the problem is that, before you install this v10 at your accord you dont have both even power even look lol

@david1513 welcome back to the future
Fuck Civics & CRXs & anything that even looks like it could be used to race or make the cops sit up and look at you hard. That's the "dumber that a box of rocks" way of doing things. It takes exactly ZERO brains to get noticed.
I'd drop that sweet V-10 into my all-factory-looking 1989 Accord LXi sleeper machine!
It doesn't turn heads at first glance because NOTHING looks out of place.
That's a lesson you zipper-heads need to learn.
Horsepower is more fun when you look like you don't have any.

@DrGoodwrench64 lol Dream on. Setting aside the fact that that an F1 V10 costs a good half million dollars you go putting one it a street car and you'll learn real quick just how terrible street manners can be. You think cops notice riced out civics, wait till you go around town with this thing buzzing around at 14,000rpm+ all the time. Yeah, that's REAL inconspicuous. I'm sure nobody will notice.
Just sayin, not hatin.
