Price is Right 6/18/02 - Wild Audience & Penny Ante Goof

One wild day at The Price is Right from June, 2002. First a group of students prove that "VENTURA LOVES BOB!"

Next, Bob is threatened to be kissed by a man name Tracy and claims to be "sexually harassed" on the job. Oh, the irony!

Finally, a playing of Penny Ante in which a great example of one of its common malfunctions occurred. It was because of these semi-frequent errors that the game was retired.

It's amazing how just 5 short years ago we had Rod Roddy, still alive and chipper, calling names on camera and being zoomed down and zipped off-screen (My favorite transition, by the way). It's amazing how much things changed in the next few years.

@rallezam Penny Ante's last playing was in 2002. It was scheduled to be played in S31 but malfunctions forced it out of the rotation. After it was damaged, it was on hiatus until 2007.

Penny Ante was retired because it was left outside the BB studio. The game was to receive upgrades or a new paint of coat (undecided to that point) and therefore was sent outside. However, one day it rained thus damaging the pricing game.

the malfunctions weren't the only reason for retirement. It was left in the rain one day, just after they decided to renovate the game itself
