James Randi performed the famous "psychic surgery" trick, and he explained on the Tonight Show that it was done by exactly the same means that the fakers in the Philippines are still using to cheat their victims. Imagine his surprise when Fred DeCordova, the Tonight Show producer, called to tell him that at the NBC-TV Los Angeles office alone, they'd received 102 phone calls following the broadcast, every one of them asking how to contact the Filipino "psychic surgeons"! Poor naive people :(.

yes, you don't have to be ill to go there. He doesn't charge, so not much to lose (and if you don't believe, don't go - nothing to worry about). by the way, he doesn't call himself john of god, nor does he claim that he does the healing. a lot of misquotes here in this video.
