Realeyes3D: Olie presents Motion Maps at the WCA LBS SIG meeting

July 28, 2009, at the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), Olivier Ricordel, vp product management, introduces Motion Maps to the US and demoes it live. Motion Maps is a motion sensing technology (or more accurately handset egomotion estimation technology) that turns the camera on a phone into a motion sensor. With Motion Maps, LBS application developers can take advantage of motion sensing on any device even if there is no hardware motion sensing device (accelerometer).
