BTW, the part of the periodic table the star's fusion cycle reaches is directly dependent on said stars size. Only the largest stars will actually make it to fusing Uranium...smaller stars would've gone nova by that point. That's why Uranium is so rare.

^the very existence of Uranium on this planet, I mean. Uranium is only produced in the cores of stars that are in the process of burning out. Basically, once a star burns thru all its Hydrogen, it starts fusing the Helium to form Carbon. Once all the Helium is used up, it starts fusing the resultant Carbon into Oxygen, etc., etc., up the periodic table until you get to the largest naturally occurring element: Uranium.

Then those scientists shouldn't have dated a recently formed igneous rock, then.
Dude, news flash. The world is 4.54 BILLION years old. To claim otherwise, you'd have to rewrite the laws of physics!
I mean, the very existence of Uranium proves that the Universe is billions of years old, dude! Lol!

as new dating technologies are discovered (halo) geologists obtained result that the stones are 6,000 or so years old only, not millions. this is interesting. will keep track of the topic.

Galileo and Isaak Newton only invoked intelligent design when they had reached the limits of their knowledge. Now, we have knowledge that goes beyond what they knew, so now, it no longer makes any sense to invoke intelligent design just simply because we have reached our preset limit of understanding, because new discovers will be made that will extend our knowledge.
wow, i think science really will destroy religion. cool
