Have you ever wished to live more just to listen to this song? I do everyday and I just fear to die and cant listen to this anymore :(

Thom used to get super emotional over this song back in the 90s.. but he's enjoying it just as much as the audience now.

I hear this song and see it as: "get hope, before there's no hope". The song gives me hope. Oddly tells me, if you get hope, you will avoid the upcoming hopelessness that will bear down upon those who didnt have hope in the first place. This might sound incredibly stupid and confusing. But yeah, the song isnt hopeless for me.

I love thom, but jesus man, everyone struggles with death and for a lot of people in that audience I bet just going to a show is a struggle against anxiety and fear that has roots in the fear of death.

Sorry, I feel hope in this song. Everyone got his own interpretetion, and nobody got the right one because there's is not. When I'm really sad, listening to this kind of song makes me happy, and you've got a problem with that? Grow up...

This is best and saddest song written! I can't believe how the audience are just singing along as if it's just another song though, it's about hopelessness and how death will always win for f**** sake! How can the audience not know that! It frustrates me.

@renewenergy Thom like in "THis song is a piece of art"

I have and there is no direct source to that long quote. I hope it's not true cause it sounds way too pretentious. This is a great song but Thom's supposedly quote is really exaggerated. This is a song and nothing more...

There's beauty and joy in artfully expressing what usually goes unsaid.

IF IT ISN'T ON GOOGLE YOU'RE FUCKED

This song is just ............................ and interpret this as better as you can.
Because sometimes, music doesn't need words.
